Come if you dare to downtown Mackinaw City to tour the Haunted Harbor.
Nightmare at Challenge Mountain
October 8-9, 15-16, 22-23, 29-30, 7-10pm
Attractions include the Grimm Forest, Grateful Dead Graveyard, Deadly Witches Cottage, Haunted Forest, Dragon Room, Haunted Basement and more, Boyne Falls. 231-582-1186.
Scream in Wolverine
October 6-8, 13-15, 20-22, 27-31, 7-11pm
Three haunted places to explore, The Crazed Clown Convention, Swamp of Terror, Kurt and Burt's House of Horror are ready to be explored at Wolverine Camps, two miles north of Wolverine.
Fort Fright Night
October 7, 6:30-9:30pm
A haunted habitat where werewolves, witches, and other legendary characters roam, Colonial Michilimackinac, Mackinaw City.
Headlands Challenge
October 28, 6:30-10pm
The Headlands Dark Sky Park outside Mackinac City, has sunset and moon rising events plus viewings of the stars combined with storytelling. 231-348-1704.
Trick or Treating at McGulpin Point Lighthouse
October 28-31, 10am-6pm
Go trick or treating with shipwrecked pirates at McGulpin Point Lighthouse just outside Mackinaw City.
Zip of Terror
October 21-22, 28-29, 7-11pm
Zip along the zipline through haunted forests at Boyne Mountain. 800-GO-BOYNE.

Bay Harbor Trunk or treating, Halloween from 4-5pm.
Boyne City A parade at 4:30pm on Halloween followed by trick or treating.
Charlevoix Trick or treating from 6-8pm on Halloween.
Harbor Springs A parade at 1pm with trick or treating from 6-8pm on Halloween.
Mackinaw City Throughout Mackinaw City, 6-8pm on Halloween.
Petoskey Saturday, October 29, downtown Petoskey celebrates with a parade at 10am and trick or treating through the downtown until noon. Halloween night trick or treating throughout Petoskey takes place from 6-8pm.
